RALPHIE MAY Having just released his first comedy CD and DVD to rave reviews and having recently received a standing ovation on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, it is no wonder that Ralphie May has become one of the hottest comedians in the country. His popularity expoded after the success of NBC;s hit reality series Last Comic Standing. Known for his hip-hop brand of comedy, Ralphie has his ebonics and quick wit down pat, which has earned him roles in films such as For Da Love of Money for Urban World Films and GAS for Hat to the Back Productions. He has worked as an actor, writer, and producer for ESPNs Mohr Sports starring Jay Mohr and had four appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He has been seen on The Man Show and MTVs Bash, as well as guest starring roles on numerous television shows, including NBCs Whoopie. If thats not enough he recently underwent gastric bypass surgery. Ralphie currently tours regularly performing in comedy clubs and theatres across the country. His first CD and DVD, which was released February 10th by Melee Records, has been described as fresh and very, very funny. The DVD also includes footage of his recent USO Tour in Iraq and Afghanistan where he could be seen swimming in Saddam Husseins pool. He has also been seen on the new one-hour prime-time access syndicated show, On-Air with Ryan Seacrest, in which he stole the show as the traveling correspondent. And, returning to his roots, he will be hosting Los Angeles regional auditions for the 2004 season of NBCs Last Comic Standing.
