Kristin Key started comedy in the small west Texas town of Amarillo at the age of 19. She seemed like any other sweet well-behaved preacher’s daughter…until she opened her mouth. This quick witted, fearless style of stand-up earned her the title “Preacher’s Kid Gone Wild” and she took to the road playing comedy clubs and colleges all across the Midwest. She spent years traveling the road searching for the break that would take her to the next level. That break came when an audition for Last Comic Standing turned her into a season long favorite on the NBC hit comedy show.
Now a California resident, she still has that small town point of view with a polished rapid fire delivery that keep audiences howling. She grew up musically inclined and incorporated the guitar into her comedy. With the blend of music, comedy, and her spontaneous sense of humor anything can happen and no two show’s are the same. She’s often played on XM and Sirius Satellite radio, has released to full-length comedy albums, is a regular on the Bob and Tom show, and has been seen on Comics Unleashed and NBC’s Last Comic Standing.
